Not long ago a friend brought a another friend to my studio for a business requirement - to create a brand visual and identity for a lifestyle resort. Nothing new to that, but first question - what's so unique about your resort?
That's where the interest started to build in - EQUESTRIAN LIFESTYLE RESORT is one of a kind Resort close to Mumbai that encourages patrons to enjoy the experience of owning a horse and spending adventurous weekends exploring various equestrian activities.
Their mandate enables the guest to have easy ownership while guided learning to understanding their horse while spending time in an outdoor environment. This also provides for adventures such as racing, Polo, Dressage, Jumping etc. They wanted to be more that just a stable. They wanted to be the go-to place for weekenders. They wanted people to come enjoy equestrian activities at their resort.
We tried to add in the new age first movers into consideration as our audience.

Like in my article on mood boards, I started out by creating one and tracing the key essential requirements such as target audience :
SKETCHES! they can play an important role to help you create a visual in fact as critical as doodling! We started out by creating a symbolic representation of horses and the target audience for the logo design.
Next came the COLOR SCHEME. It can make a break a brand.
BLUE is a colour of sky and sea. Associated with depth and stability.
Blue symbolizes trust, loyalty, wisdom, confidence, intelligence, faith, truth, heaven and claming.
GOLD is a colour of prestige and knowledge.
Gold symbolizes knowledge, quality, luxury, wealth, beauty, prestige, generosity, power and strength.
