Exploring the Beauty of Lesser-Known Dance Cultures in India, a land of diverse dance traditions, many of which remain lesser-known beyond their regions. Each state holds unique dance forms that reflect its heritage, folklore, traditions and the deep cultural roots of their communities.
Year3 – 2022-23 – The Roads We Travel – (Art)
India's artistic heritage includes hidden gems like Lamdadi in Telangana and Lezim in Maharashtra to name a few. These lesser-known art forms, rich in history and storytelling, reflect cultural identity. Preserving them ensures their legacy thrives, celebrating India's diverse and vibrant artistic traditions.

An infrastructure investment trust has to publish a financial document every year for investors, lenders and regulators. Most are opened once and filed. Across three consecutive editions we gave IndInfravit a reason to be read, by running a cultural thread through the reporting that connected the corridors the trust builds to the places those corridors run through.

What We Delivered

Year one, 2020-21, ran under "Building Trust, Developing Corridors of Growth". Section dividers were built around India's heritage monuments, the timeless structures that reflect a state's history and architecture, which put a road-building trust in the company of things designed to last.

Year two, 2021-22, became "Building Trust. Creating Corridors of Prosperity and Development", with dividers exploring India's lesser-known regional dance traditions, each one carrying the heritage and folklore of the communities the corridors serve.

Year three, 2022-23, ran as "The Roads We Travel", with dividers on lesser-known art forms including Lamdadi in Telangana and Lezim in Maharashtra. Each edition documented something at risk of being lost, which gave the reports a purpose beyond compliance.

Holding "Building Trust" across three editions while changing the cultural lens each year gave the trust a recognisable series rather than three unrelated documents. Stakeholders who received all three could see a house style, which is what makes annual reporting compound into brand equity instead of expiring each March.
The annual report is the one document your investors, lenders, and board all read, and in most organisations it is the least considered piece of design you produce. We treat it as a series rather than an annual emergency, so each edition builds on the last and the whole run says something about how the organisation thinks.
