Promotion for Michelin star chef Vineet Bhatia’s new menu launch. Creating awareness for the week that he will be visiting the restaurant kitchens and preparing fine dine Indian fusion meals.

Chef has been globally known for his ‘Indian Fusions’ cooking techniques. He got early culinary inspiration from his mother, whom he describes as ‘an excellent cook with a fantastic imagination’. He says of his home city: ‘The wonderful thing about growing up in Bombay [Mumbai] was the eclectic influences all around you. It is a melting pot of culinary delights from all over the many different regions of India. Here at Ziya he produces exquisite, modern Indian food which explores the subcontinent’s outstanding regional cuisines. Subtle, delicate spicing is one of the characteristics of Vineet Bhatia’s dishes, eschewing the multiple strong flavours common in Anglicised Indian food. Our audience who very well understand the opulence and abundance were to be inspired to find interest in the delicacies.

We have communicated the feeling one gets when they walk into Ziya and have a meal prepared by the Chef himself. 'Intense Flavours. Intimate Settings.’, in limited words explain the dine in experience you get. Keeping in purview of The Oberoi’s strict communication guidelines as well as, communicating the opulence of table settings and more at Ziya, we have subtly hinted at the fusion theme of a Marigold influenced menu.
Iterated this theme to digital through email campaigns, SM creatives, advertisements as well as influencers. We chose to take this experience of our patrons one step ahead by developing promotional bags with Almond Ginger Fusion cookies and giving out to all our dinners to take the experience home, and sharing with their friends and family. Thereby creating a word of mouth about the presence of the chef at the restaurant and spreading recommendations by patrons to their friends and families.
